A Perfect Day

Although most days are good, today was truly a perfect day from start to finish.  I took the day off from work, and I think it may be the first time I’ve ever been off for absolutely no reason on a weekday.  I slept in later than usual, made a delicious breakfast, listened to records, and perused Oak Street in the rain.  Usually I like to schedule off on Fridays so I can have a 3-day weekend, but now I highly recommend taking a day off mid-week as a means of preserving sanity.
